Buffer tanks Roda
How to save on heating at home?
Often, this question pops up when designing a heating system.
Considering the tariffs, the user strives to make the system as economical and, at the same time, efficient as possible.
For such cases, the so-called buffer tank or its second name, a heat tank, was invented.
The buffer tank (heat accumulator) of the Family is a metal tank, the volume of which starts from 350 liters, and has a special casing (insulation) .
Mounted between the equipment that generates heat and the heating circuit of the room.
Serves like a thermos.
Why buffer capacity is needed and how it works: Roda
The most standard and frequent method of using a buffer tank: in conjunction with a solid fuel boiler .
But there are systems with a gas , electric boiler, as well as a solar system (solar panels).
A buffer tank with a heat exchanger (coil) allows you to simultaneously operate several heat sources .
So, the main purpose of the heat accumulator in the heating system is saving!
How it works? The buffer tank collects hot water (coolant) from the heat generator and keeps the temperature, not allowing it to fall for a long time .
During this time, the boiler does not work.
Heating a sufficient volume of water in the tank, the boiler turns off.
Further, as needed, the coolant is pumped from the tank to the heating system by a circulation pump .
But what is the economy?
The savings are due to the fact that when the water temperature in the radiator decreases, the temperature in the room also decreases, but it is not necessary to turn on the boiler to heat the coolant in the batteries.
Because, as mentioned above, the "buffer", like a thermos, holds the previously accumulated water temperature and transfers it to the system.
And accordingly, it debugs the inclusion of a heat generator (boiler) .
Types of heat accumulators Sort
Manufacturer Roda has a large selection of buffer tanks for heating.
The main difference is considered to be the number of connection pipes and the presence of a coil.
A heat accumulator for a solid fuel boiler with a coil allows you to connect, in addition to the boiler, a solar system .
Which, in sunny time, will transfer thermal energy to the tank to provide domestic hot water .
Depending on the placement of the coil - at the bottom or at the top of the tank.
There are also conventional options, without heat exchangers.
Consider, in order, the types of buffer tanks of the Rod trademark:
- RBE series - this series is an economy option. It has one common inlet and outlet. Additionally, you can connect a heating element and a thermometer .
- The RBB series is the basic version of the buffer tank. It has two branch pipes for the supply and return of the coolant.
- The RBLS series is a model of a storage tank for heating with a built-in coil at the bottom of the tank, which is made of carbon steel. This heat exchanger allows you to connect an additional heat pump or solar panels .
- The RBTS series is a stainless steel top mounted coil to provide domestic hot water .
- The RBDS series is the maximum complete set of a heat accumulator. Two coils (upper stainless steel, lower carbon steel).
Buy a buffer tank in Ukraine with free delivery
In Rod's company store, you can buy a buffer tank for heating from 350 to 10,000 liters.
Depending on certain factors, such as volume, availability and number of heat exchangers, a buffer tank for a solid fuel boiler has a price of 9900 hryvnia.
But, regardless of the type of heat accumulator, delivery throughout Ukraine is free of charge within 1-3 days .
In addition to those items that are purchased by special order.
As a rule, these are large water heat accumulators.
