Rayper Roda system
The Rayper Roda system is an innovative system for the installation of heating and hot water systems. This system is based on a RÖDA Pex-a EVO-H cross-linked polyethylene pipe, as well as a set of fittings and fittings.
Features and benefits of the Roda Rayper system:
- Excellent flexibility of XLPE pipes . Thanks to this, the piping system can be placed as compactly as possible and with high material savings.
- High reliability of connections . The connector sleeves are made of molecular memory polymer. They form a reliable connection between pipe and fitting, which lasts an unusually long time.
- High resistance to pressure and temperature . The working pressure of the system is 8 BAR (8 atmospheres). The maximum allowable temperature of the liquid in the system is 95 0 C.
- The longest service life. System Rayper Roda outperforms all currently existing types of pipe connections in terms of service life.

Installation instructions for the Roda Rayper system:
1. Cut the pipe
Cut the tube with suitable scissors, making sure that the cut is perpendicular to the tube and that there are no burrs or grease on the end of the tube.
2. Place the ring on the pipe
Insert the pipe into the ring until it reaches the inner stops with the Rayper rings at one end. In some cases, additional physical effort may be required when installing the ring on the pipe.

3. Expand the pipe
Install a nozzle of the correct diameter. Expand the expander handles fully to cover the expander head segments. Then insert the expander head into the pipe and start expanding the pipe, pull the expander head segments out of the pipe so that they do not touch the pipe walls. Quickly turn the tool around 15-45 degrees and re-insert the expansion nozzle segments into the pipe.
Number of recommended extensions:
Pipe diameter, mm | 16x2.2 | 20x2.8 | 26x2.3 | 32x2.9 |
| Number of extensions | 4 | 5 | 7 | 13 |

4. Fitting installation
Quickly insert the fitting into the pipe until it stops. Hold the fitting in this position for a few seconds until the pipe is compressed around the fitting. The fitting should slide into the pipe with little effort.
At normal temperatures, Röda Rayper joints can be subjected to a pressure test once 30 minutes after installation , and after 6 hours to 24 hours, the joint will be as strong as the pipe itself.
It is not recommended to rotate the fitting in the pipe during or after a system leak test. In case of leaks after turning the fitting in the pipe, it is necessary:
- Reduce system pressure to 0 bar.
- Heat the connections with an industrial hair dryer to a temperature of 60C'.
- Wait a certain time so that the pipe can take its original shape. The time interval depends on the ambient temperature.
In winter conditions, it is recommended to increase the waiting time according to the table:
<
Temperature | +20С / +10С | +10С / +6С | +5С / +1С | 0С / -4С | -5C / -9C | 10C / -15C |
Waiting time | 30 min. | 45 min. | 2 hours | 3 hours | 7 | 13 |
