Manual expander 16-32 (RPERHTKEXPMAN)

The Roda manual expander is designed to expand the Pex-a pipe during the installation of the Rayper system, with a diameter of: 16x2.0 20x2.0 26x2.3 32x2.9.

Connection installation

Always visually inspect the device for external damage before starting work. The moving parts and axles must be regularly lubricated with oil.

When cutting a pipe, it is very important to ensure that the pipe is cut correctly. The edges of the cuts must be at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the pipe.

Slide the ring corresponding to the size of the pipe onto the end of the pipe all the way to the stop. In the case of installing the ring on pipes, additional physical effort may be required.

On the tool you need to install a nozzle of the appropriate diameter. Fully open the hand tool and insert the expanding nozzle segments into the pipe. Then fully open the tool handles and pull the nozzle segments out of the pipe so that they do not touch the pipe walls. Quickly rotate the tool in a circle (15-45*) and insert the expanding nozzle segments into the pipe.

Quickly insert the fitting into the pipe as far as it will go and hold the fitting in this position for a few seconds until the pipe is compressed around the fitting. The fitting should enter the pipe with little resistance. There must be no gap between the end face of the ring and the stop of the fitting.
