With the onset of cold weather, the question often arises of heating the room. And this does not always apply to an apartment or a house. Also, other commercial premises (shop, MAF and similar facilities) require heating, where there is no possibility of centralized heating or gas heating.

How to heat non-residential premises?

During the cold season, most shops or public places often face the problem of insufficient heating. Since in such places the entrance doors often open, due to which there is a loss of heat and cold air enters.

Employees of these establishments feel the most discomfort from such a process, since it is easiest to get sick in an insufficiently heated room. And for visitors, too, relaxing or shopping in a cold, damp room is not comfortable.

In the modern world, there is a large selection of alternatives to centralized and gas heating.

The German company Roda offers to understand some options that can be applied in absolutely any room where there is electricity:

Below we will analyze each option, and users will decide for themselves which option will be more convenient and effective for them.

Electric air curtain as a source of heating

A thermal (air) curtain is not only a way to keep warm, but also to heat the air in a room. This option is ideal for places where the front door often opens.

The thermal curtain is usually installed above the doorway and thus, with a strong downward air flow, blocks the exit of heat and the ingress of cold from the outside. Thus, a comfortable temperature for a person is maintained in the room.

Air curtains are divided into the following types:

  • water (connected to the water supply, and heating is carried out thanks to hot water);
  • electric (has a heating element STICH or heating element, such a curtain not only blocks the ingress of cold air, but also heats it);
  • without heating (works to block the external environment from the internal one).

Among users, the most popular is the electric air curtain (thermal curtain), since its installation is possible in any room where there is electricity.

And it will be useful in any season, in summer, in the mode without heating, it blocks the entry into the room, and in winter, as mentioned above, it retains heat and heats the room as a whole.

Electric convectors - the main or additional source of heat

An electric heater is the simplest but not economical way to heat a room.

The simplicity lies in the fact that to use this device, it is enough to connect it to a 220 V socket. But, this option is more suitable as an additional source of heat, since the efficiency is equal to consumption.

That is, when consuming 2 kW of energy, it produces 2 kW of heat per hour. This is enough for a room of 20 square meters. m. To call such equipment economical would not be correct.

Although ease of use and portability make electric convectors popular among users.

Installation is possible in two versions:

  • on the floor (on legs or wheels);
  • on the wall (using special brackets).
